Rapco Low Impedance Microphone Cables
Low impedance microphone cables are terminated with an XLR male connector
on one end and an XLR female on the other. Pin #1 is always connected to
the shield of the cable on both ends and pin #2 and #3 carry the signal.
Rapco low impedance microphone cables are assembled using only name brand,
quality connectors from Alcatel, Neutrik and Switchcraft. These manufacturers
are known worldwide for producing consistent quality products that will not
fail even under the most extreme situations. The low impedance microphone
cables described below all come in 3, 6, 10, 15, 20, 30, 50, 75 and 100 foot
lengths. The price of these cables vary due to the composition of the particular
cable that is used.
The "J" Series microphone cables are assembled using Rapco "RSMCA" cable
with two 24 gauge conductors and a spiral shield. "AJ" cables have Alcatel
connectors and "SJ" cables are hand soldered with Switchcraft connectors.
All "J" Series cables are available in black, red or blue cable.

High Impedance Microphone Cables
Rapco manufacturers cables for all types of high impedance microphones. High
impedance microphone cables generally have an XLR female connector on one
end and a mono 1/4" connector on the other for use with high impedance
microphones. High impedance microphones have different wiring configurations
depending on the manufacturer, so you will need to check your owners manual
for specifics. Rapco "M" Series cables are assembled with pin #3 of the XLR
connector to the tip of the 1/4" plug and the "V" Series cables have pin
#2 of the XLR connector wired to the tip of the 1/4" plug. These are the
two most popular high impedance cables Rapco makes for high impedance microphones
from Shure and Electro-voice. "M" and "V" Series cables are available in
6, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 foot lengths.

We also carry a cable that has a low to high impedance transformer built
into the cable itself, the "N" Series. These cables will allow you to adapt
a low impedance microphone like Shure SM57 or SM58 to work in a high impedance
input without loss of sound quality. "N" Series cables come in 20, 25, 30
and 50 foot lengths.
Rapco Commercial Speaker Cables
We handles 18, 16, 14, 12 and 10 gauge speaker cable in round jacketed cables
and in parallel zip style wire. The gauge of the wire designates the size
of each conductor. The smaller the gauge size the larger the actual size
of the wire, meaning a 12 gauge wire is larger than an 18 gauge wire. The
larger gauge cables will handle more wattage and can run longer distances
than smaller gauge cables. Power amps run cooler and perform more efficiently
with the proper gauge wire ran to the speakers. Consult your amplifier owner's
manual for specific requirements for your application concerning wire gauges
and length of cable runs. All Rapco speaker cables are available with "MDP"
banana plugs for amplifiers with this type connection.

The Neutrik NNP Series
The guitar and patch cables are hand assembled using Soundflex cable and
nickel plated Neutrik 1/4" connectors. Soundflex cable is available in black,
red, blue and purple for quick identification in patching situations. Standard
lengths are 1, 2, 3, 6, 10, 15, 18, 20, 25 and 30 feet.

The Switchcraft Standard Series
Switchcraft 1/4" connectors and Soundflex cable are the components of this
Rapco original. These cables are also available in black, red, blue and purple
in lengths of 1, 3, 6, 10, 15, 18, 20, 25 and 30 feet. Often imitated, but
never equaled, these cables have been a Rapco standard for 13 years.

The Rapco Hot Shrink
These cables are assembled from the same components as our Standard guitar
cables but with two added features! The connections inside the plug are sealed
with hot melt epoxy. Then, color coded shrink tubing is applied over the
connector barrel and cable for added strain relief and identification. These
cables are built for the stage! Hot Shrink cables are available in black,
red, blue and purple cable with black, red, blue, yellow or white colored
heat shrink. Cable lengths are 10, 15, 18, 20, 25 and 30 feet.
The Road Hog
Road Hog cables are specially designed to withstand the everyday abuse cables
must endure from life on the road. The reinforced jacketing and solid brass
1/4" connectors give these cables a look and feel of their own. If you play
professionally, these are the cables for you. The Road Hog has a black matte
jacket and comes in 10, 15, 18, 20, 25 and 30 foot lengths.

"MF" Midi Cables:
"MF" Midi cables are wired 5 pin active using Flexquad cable and nickel plated
din connectors. 5 pin active cables are required by some drum machines and
triggered equipment so be sure to consult your specific equipment owners
manual for wiring specifications. "MF" Midi cables come in 1, 3, 5, 10, 15,
20, 25, 30 and 50 foot lengths in black, red, blue, purple or white cable.
